FLANNEL ALERT: Mumford & Sons announce album release, inconvenient summer tour

The hugely popular Mumford & Sons have announced they’ll finally be releasing their second album in September. They also will go on an incredibly inconvenient four date, $69 per ticket summer tour that stops in Maine, Virginia, a town called Dixon, Illinois and then in Monterey, California. The good news is they’ll be appearing with bands like Dawes, JEFF the Brotherhood, and Justin Townes Earle. If it wasn’t for JEFF the Brotherhood, audiences might’ve gotten confused they were attending a Civil War reenactment. This is after they spent their last tour going around the country with Old Crow Medicine Show in a frickin’ railroad car. No word yet on whether audiences will be able to buy bottled water at the shows or they’ll have to pump it from the ground themselves.

Here’s Mumford & Sons’ single from their upcoming album. It’s called “Ghosts That We Knew.”
