In April AJ Jacobs released his newest book where he experiments with the human experience. Drop Dead Healthy is the chronicle of Jacobs’ year plus long experiment in following the exact advice of health experts. One of the most surprising (and scary) things he discovered is sitting is terrible for the human body, so he wrote the whole book on a treadmill. He says it took 1,000 miles to complete the whole thing.
In October of last year he visited TED talks and discussed some of his other finds. Along the way he meditated, constantly wiped down remotes and cell phones, and chewed his food 30 times every bite.
