Ska punk band Streetlight Manifesto has requested that their fans no longer purchase their music through iTunes or retail stores to avoid supporting their record label. Victory records and the band have apparently had a contentious relationship for the past few years. The band released this statement on its website. It’s a lengthy read that probably isn’t worth your time but the band even encourages fans to illegally download their music (way ahead of you, guys) over buying the albums from Victory. It’s not really a big deal but it’s worth mentioning whenever there’s a development in the long overdue downfall of the music industry.
